What´s happening at Oswald?
Located at the heart of the traditional district Bom Retiro, the Oswald de Andrade Building is an iconic space in São Paulo’s cultural landscape. The building, which is currently the home of CULTSP PRO in the capital, is going through a process of revitalization, aiming to host a variety of cultural events.
The edifice has a history profoundly connected to the arts and culture in São Paulo. It is named after the notorious modernist author Oswald de Andrade, one of the pillars of the 1922 Modern Arts Week, a milestone in the Brazilian arts.
In addition to sheltering CULTSP PRO, The Oswald is also home to São Paulo Dance Company, which features among the country’s most prominent and is known for its excellence and innovation in the contemporary dance scene. The space hosts rehearsals, performances and workshops, consolidating as an artistic development hub in the city.
At The Oswald, CULTSP PRO will turn into an innovative technology hub, featuring state of the art labs for production of podcasts, photography, video and other creative areas. This facility will count on full infrastructure for support to high-quality audiovisual content production, combining technology and creativity in one place.
At The Oswald, CULTSP PRO will act as the meeting point for professionals and creatives to explore new possibilities and to develop unique projects, nurturing a rich dynamic between arts and technology.
